Dr. Khraizat loves our State of Michigan and has called it home for more than 40 years. He graduated with high distinction and the Board of Governors Recognition from the University of Michigan-Dearborn, where he received a full academic scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. He went on to earn his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine before specializing in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center.
During his career, Dr. Khraizat has received numerous awards for community service, leadership, teaching, and surgical excellence. He has served in many leadership roles, including Chief and Vice Chief of the Department for over a decade, Assistant Director of the Residency Program, and leadership on the hospital Medical Executive Committee. Dr. Khraizat continues to train and mentor residents, medical students, and other healthcare professionals and has been recognized by the Council on Resident Education in Obstetrics & Gynecology for his teaching skills. Recently, the Graduating Residents at Corewell honored him as Volunteer Faculty of the Year, and he felt proud to deliver their commencement address. For over 5 years, he has also served on the Board of the Alumni Association at WSU School of Medicine and established an endowed scholarship for medical students interested in pursuing expertise in women's health. In 2021, Governor Whitmer and the State Congress honored Dr. Khraizat for his dedication and service to the community's health needs. In 2025, Dearborn's Mayor presented him with another honor recognizing his continued commitment to excellence in gynecology, obstetrics, and women's health. Dr. Khraizat's patients and peers have also recognized his dedication to women's health, including recognition by U.S. News & World Report for patient satisfaction scores, and multiple Hour Detroit Top Doc awards.
In 2006, Dr. Khraizat co-founded Michigan Women’s Care, where he continues to practice in Canton and Dearborn. He is dedicated to providing attentive, compassionate care and is known for his strong communication skills, attention to detail, and commitment to improving his patients’ lives.
Outside of work, Dr. Khraizat enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, gardening, exercising, and enjoying the outdoors.

Community Contributions:
Dr. Khraizat teaches both physician assistants through Concordia University and medical students through Wayne State University and Corewell residents. He also established an endowed scholarship for medical students and supports Zaman International, a nonprofit organization to help disadvantaged women.
