B&B OPTOMETRY

Dr. Benham grew up in Indiana, where her childhood family optometrist helped spark her interest in the eye field. During her internship at his office she learned much from her mentor. What impressed Dr. Benham the most was how happy patients were upon receiving their new glasses or contact lenses. Dr. Benham earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Indiana University School of Optometry in 1988. Dr. Benham enjoy the communication process involved in caring for her patients and encourages them to feel comfortable asking question and discussing their ocular health. Dr. Benham also mentor optometry and pre-optometry students by allowing them to shadow her in clinic. She helps them explore the optometry career as a prominent part of the healthcare field.
