Raised and educated in New York City, Dr. Bernstein recalls how his interest in optometry began. His father, a chemist, instilled in him a love for science and his devoted mother, legally blind, warmed his compassion to help others see. Dr. Bernstein is a graduate of the State University of New York College of Optometry. He is certified to treat and manage ocular disease. He has served as president of the Yorba Linda Chamber of Commerce network connection. When he is not with his family of patients, Dr. Bernstein spends his time with his wife, an artist and their two children.
